Bigfoot, Sasquatch, and the Mogollon Monster living in Arizona

My Experiences

My belief of Bigfoot began when I was a child. My Father and I would sit and watch Godzilla and other monster movies every Saturday morning for years. Then one Saturday the movie "The Legend of Boggy Creek" was shown. I remember being glued to the screen of the televisoin watching as this movie unfolded. From that moment on I was hooked. Growing up I could not get enough of Bigfoot. I read every book I could find in the libraries, learning all that I could of Bigfoot. Now that I am and adult my beliefs have continued to grow.

My Experience

In October 1991 my family and I went on a deer hunting trip in the North Kaibab Forest on the North side of the Grand Canyon. We camped at our usual camp site in the area of Crazy Jug Point. On the evening of our first day the sun had begun to set and was behind the ridge that ran North to South on our west side blocking the evening sun. At this time we began to hear a whistling sound that was coming from this ridge. The sound appeared to be about a quarter of a mile away. This whistle continued about every 30 seconds to a minute for several hours. At first we thought this was some kind of bird we did not know of. Then another whistle began to answer the first. The second whistler was whistling closer to our camp but on the ridge South East of the camp. For the next hour or so the two whistlers called and answered each other. Several times it sounded like one of the two was moving around on the ridge where they were as the whistling would move closer or further away. As stated before we believed this was just a bird, a very loud bird.

Well the next two nights at almost the same time our whistlers began their calling. Each night they whistled from areas close to the first locations they had started on the first night. On one of the nights a third whistler joined in but was farther North and could barely be heard compared to the two others who echoed through the small basin area we were in. The third only responded to the other two every few minutes or so.

Our hunting trip came and went and we forgot about our whistlers for many years. One day I decided to buy the "Sierra Sounds" cd's. Listening to them I was surprised when I heard one of the men exchanging whistles with an unknown whistler in the woods. When I heard the creatures from the cd whistling the hair on my neck stood up and I instantly recalled the the whistles from 1991. I then knew instantly that what ever was whistling on the cd was the same thing my family and I had heard for three nights on the North side of the Grand Canyon.

I took the cd's to my parents home and let them borrow them to listen to. I purposely did not tell them what I had heard when I had listened to them as I wanted to see what their reaction to the cd's would be. Over the next week or so Each of my parents, and all but one of my sisters called me asking me if I had heard the sounds that we had heard from our hunting trip on the "Sierra Sounds" cd's. They all stated that the sounds that I had heard where the man was exchangning whistles with the unknown whistler was the same that they had heard from our whistlers on our hunting trip in 1991.

In 1991 when we were on our hunting trip our family included my Father, Mother, two brothers, and two sisters. Six separate people listened to the whistles on a cold October deer hunt for several hours on three separate nights and all six listened to the "Sierra Sounds" cd's and determined for themselves that these whistles were from the same source. This was not our families only experience in this same camp site but the most memorable and the one that led us to realize who our companions in the forest those nights were.

About Me

I am an Arizona native and grew up in Phoenix most of my life. My parents are also Arizona natives, my Father was born and rasied on the White Mountain Apache indian reservation and my Mother is a Phoenix native. My family has always been an outdoors family, hunting, fishing, camping, and everything in between. We have even shared several encounters that we believe can be attributed to Bigfoot.
